All praise is due to Allah, may the Salaah and Salaam be upon the Messenger of Allah. As to what follows:
Do not look down upon the good in any way, for Allah is the one who is vast in virtue. He bestows His virtue upon whomever He wills. The good deed is counted as ten good deeds like it up to seven hundred fold, to more than that by many times. Rather the increase of the one good deed could reach the amount of being two million good deeds. And Allah is the possessor of magnificent virtue.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
Indeed Allah azza wa jall increases the good deed for the believer to be two million good deeds.
Narrated by Imam Ahmad in the Musnad, Ibn Abee ad-Dunyaa in at-Tawbah, Ibn Jareer in his Tafseer, Ibn Abee Haatim in his Tafseer, Abu al-Hasan al-Qizweenee in Amaalee, Abu al-Hasan al-Ikhmeemee in al-Fawaa-id al-Muntaqaah, al-Bayhaqee in az-Zuhd al-Kabeer, Abu Bakr ibn Khallaad an-Nusaybee in his Fawaa-id, all of them by route of Abu 'Uthmaan an-Nahdee on Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) raised up (to the Prophet sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam). Those who narrated on Abu 'Uthmaan an-Nahdee are: 'Imraan ibn Basheer al-Halabee and he is good in his narrations. Alee Ibn Zayd ibn Jad'aan and he is weak but it is a slight weakness. Lastly, Ziyaad ibn Abee Ziyaad al-Jasaas and he is weak. Therefore the narration is authentic on Abu 'Uthmaan an-Nahdee by way of combining these three (narrators) adding to the narration of Sufyaan ibn Husayn on Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) in (the book) al-B'ath by Ibn Abee Daawud and its chain of narrators is cut off. Allah knows best. May the Salaah and Salaam of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad.
