Never Become Angry Due to the Truth Being Upon the Tongue of Another

The Noble Shaykh Rabee' Ibn Haadi al-Madkhali (may Allah preserve him) stated:

The Qur'aan used to come with that which agreed with 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). Did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) become angry?! Did he regret that?! Did he become hurt (over that)?! Did he say: This Umar, Allah has aided him and abandoned me?!

Translator's Note: Point of benefit from this: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did not become jealous of 'Umar for this virtue that Allah gave him nor did he have hatred for him because Allah sent down revelation agreeing with the position of 'Umar. Rather he submitted to Allah's decree and carried out the commandments of Allah.
