The Haddaadiyyah -may Allah render them repugnant- utilize the issue of blind following as a "refutation" of the speech of the 'Ulama. So they will call the one who follows the 'Ulama a blind follower.
We say to them, verily, you have acted vilely and lied you criminal. Verily the following of the 'Ulama, if based on Daleel (i.e. Proofs and evidence); then this is not blind following. Rather, this is the firm Salafy Sunnee methodology which should NOT be opposed.
As far as following the 'Ulama in an error, then this is rejected. So due to this it is a must that we draw attention to this affair; (because) many Haddaadees instill the affair of not blind following into their followers and then by way of it deceive and confuse the people by suggesting that if you follow the 'Ulama you have blind followed (and fallen into blind following). (They the Haddaadees will say), "You have to independently follow the Kitaab and the Sunnah."
How could you possibly follow the Kitaab and Sunnah as understood by the Salaf of this Ummah except upon the way of the 'Ulama who are the inheritors of the Prophets ('alaihimus salaatu was salaam). (Those 'Ulama) who transmit to us this Deen. Knowledge is Deen and Allah's Deen is taken from the trustworthy ('Ulama) and Allah knows best.
