Sheikh Saalih Al Fawzan said while commenting on Sheikh Muhammad ibn Abdil Wahhab's statement, "The elucidation of knowledge and the scholars, and jurisprudence and the jurist. Also the elucidation concerning whoever resembles them but is not of them."

Thus he said:

The intent is a clarification of whoever resembles the people of knowledge yet is not from them. He only mimics the people of knowledge and imitates them however he doesn't possess any amount of knowledge. His harm upon himself and the Islamic nation is tremendous due to him speaking about Allah without knowledge. So he leads people astray without knowledge. Allah says,

So who is more oppressive than he who invents lies against Allah in order to lead people astray without knowledge? [Al-An'am: 144]

It is said, "Four (people) corrupt the world: A nominal (would be) jurist, a nominal grammarian, a nominal doctor, and a nominal speaker. This one corrupts the country, this one corrupts the tongue, this one corrupts the body, and the last corrupts religion."
