Imaam Muqbil was asked...

female student of knowledge who is in the Masjid; when she returns to the house it is upon her to revise that which she learned which takes up a lot of time, knowing that she (still) has house duties waiting for her. It is upon her to help her mother and this housework takes up the whole (of her) time and seeking knowledge is something which requires one to be completely free. When she does house chores she doesn't take much knowledge. How can she be successful between this and freeing oneself completely for knowledge?

If she is able to elude the chores of the Dunyah then she should do it.

I advise her with this and if she is not able then it's upon her to organize her time and to make the greater portion of it to seeking knowledge then the portion for the Dunyah chores.

Nobody is able to attain beneficial knowledge except if their DUNYAH COMES AFTER THEIR KNOWLEDGE; as for (the case) if their KNOWLEDGE COMES AFTER THEIR DUNYAH... THEN NO, (they cannot attain beneficial knowledge) and Allah's aid sought.
